I think that the 2 bottom Ford plows were not that good. Seemed to plug up alot. The 3 bottom Massy trailer plow did a good job of plowing. We pulled that with the Super M. The best plow was the 4/16 fast hitch we used on the 706 ger. The last 2 plows mentioned worked the best at about 4.5/4.75mph. steveormary

I have a Dearborn plow, 2x14, and the plow shanks are part of the framework of the plow. If I removed one bottom, the shank would still drag the ground and not let the plow go into the dirt. You may have to cut the shank off to get the plow to work as a 1 bottom, and not be able to make it into a 2 bottom again should you want to.Moldboard plow is a bottom plow and vice versa.
