Jul 26, 2016 · My last OB appointment was last Friday (July 22nd) and my cervix was completely closed. Today my OB checked and I am 2.5 cm dialted adn 70% effaced! She said it was a quick change and she seemed a little surprised. I went in to have my membranes stripped early in the morning at 2cm and by midnight I was having contractions 6-8min apart. I did do some walking and ate spicy food through out the day. By 3am I was at the hospital 5cm dilated. They had me walk for an hour in the hall to get me to 6cm then I was admitted :)
