It's not the fact that the plug takes bare primers, it's because the plug has a convex end, and the realyable ones are concave.MK85 is probably correct. If you do not find the 209 conversion I do have a musket cap conversion for that rifle in the reloading room. I actually think I have a Musket cap and a percussion cap plunger.
