The 14inch will come with a pin and welded birdcage. Standard is going to be thicker and heavier, obviously. If definitely going to be running a can the heavier barrel will likely exhibit less POI shift with the can off the end and handle heat build up a bit better, gonna be a nice long boi on a 16" though.
