1.4k. Posted April 4, 2023. The one advantage a Cub Cadet garden tractor has over a zero turn is you can steer the garden tractor with one hand and hold your adult beverage with the other. With a zero turn you need both hands on the steering levers. But the zero turn mows about twice as fast as the Cub Cadet tractor.Depress the brake and turn the key, nothing. It wouldn't turn over or anything. I took the switch out and put a test light on it and wasn't getting power to the solenoid when key was turned. Based on the amount of oily dirt caked on top and the sides, your hydro relief valves are definitely leaking (squirting) oil out of the small holes in the top. After the o-rings inside get so old inside the relief valves, they start burping out a squirt of oil each time you start the engine.Oct 22, 2006. #11. Everything seems to work fine (starting, charging) except the lights go on when the key is turned on and won't go off unless the fuse is removed even though the light switch is turned off.
