One other thing you should do to help with the life of the bigger engine is to install a larger oil cooler. With the added size of the engine and the weight of your trike kit and passenger the bigger engine will run hotter. I use Amsoil 60wt synthetic in my engine to help keep the temps lower. The front is equally as different, the XL uses 2 long bolts that go through the frame and engine. The XB hangs from the heads and no provisions for those 2 bolts.
