08 TB temp gauge not working I've had this issue since the summer, and finally the gauge quit working all together 2 weeks ago. Same code mentioned, so I had the sensor replaced. (1.5 hours at the shop). Picked it up and the gauge worked until the next morning when it quit again. Onto more research I guess!As it turns out it runs stable as a rock at 188 under normal conditions. It runs up to about 192 when it's warmer outside in traffic. Then quits, the engine fan will run the whole drive ( sounds like a Detroit truck) and temperature Guage will not work. In the winter, I had no heat, temperature Guage wouldn't work and fan ran all time.180 all day long, never had any codes or warnings. Edit, after looking closer at the temp throughout my commute (left at 35 degrees, was 42 an hour later arriving at work, mostly highway) the temp stays close to 190-195 I would say. Never really saw it go up to 210 (the middle of the gauge) over the summer either though.
