The spring broke on our recliner and the foot section would not work properly. It was hard to get the chair back to an upright position, and the foot section would keep coming out. It became a significant tripping hazard, and we would have had to replace the chair without a fix. The new spring was easy to install and worked perfectly. Chair saved!
