Lost Sectors will scale with your Power Level and will commonly drop gear that is related to your level, which can help you replace old gear with new or better ones. I'm not going to look for it (you can if you want) but there was a post from a player 6-8 weeks ago talking about the exotic drop rates. They had run hundreds of Legendary and Master Lost Sectors. As someone else mentioned, there has been a fair bit of testing around this. Seems around 25% for legend and 30-35% for master. You're much better off doing legend sectors. The extra time just isn't worth it. Strongly recommend Perdition, Chamber of Starlight, and Aphelion's Rest if you're experienced and want to speed run.
