If you can keep your EGT at the high limit of the operating range while in-flight, then you save fuel and extend your flying range as well. Turn one knob to control dual carbs to change the mixture.

The 618 I am getting is a dual Mikuni ignition, Bing54 carb, blue head with thermostat and recirculation setup. It has the ceramic water pump seal, ceramic domed pistons, double oil slots on the crank and a heavy duty rod end bearing installed. Rave valves rebuilt and tuned. All new gaskets/seals, everything done.

Rotary wings don't have low forward speed stall problems because the rotating blades are not exceeding the critical angle (except for a small region near the hub). A typical gyroplane is not a short takeoff aircraft and a bush plane is. A bush plane will stall and spin, a gyroplane won’t. A typical bush plane with low wing loading will bounce the pilot around in turbulence and the ride will be smoother in a gyroplane under the same conditions. Most bush planes will carry more stuff than most gyroplanes.
