Bad body mounts can cause the fuel lines to be pinched. Bad routing can cause them to pinch on the crossmember.You can replace them with bulk FI hose and good hose clamps. If you are replacing the hard lines, you can use a flaring tool to put a little bubble flare on the ends of the lines to give a good grip on the rubber hose/clamps. Same with the vapor hard line. New Evap Charcoal Canister from AC Delco. Bottom port is TANK input and connected to the line coming off top of the check valve. Top input is Purge and is connected to my air filter. All my fuel lines are custom. I took the metal lines off the intake manifold to replace the soft portion between them and the frame since it was dry rotted, and forgot to mark them. So Now I dont know which one on the fuel rail is the feed line... the one with the regulator in front of it.. or the other.to test the regulator, un plug the vac line to the regulator and the pressure should go up 8 to 10 psi. to around 40 psi. if the regulator is working ,when you rev the motor the gauge will shortly go up and then back down to 31psi. if the pressure goes way beyond 42 or more then the return line is plugged or kinked.34. 34202728.
