I like the look and features of the nova, but the mossbergs I hear can really take a beating. I also like that the mossberg guns come with ported barrels.

the Mossberg 500 and the 590 aren't really in the same category to be fair. The Supernova vs the 590 is a much more suitable comparison in my eyes. The Benelli being better balanced and much "nicer", whilst the 590 is built as tough as any gun I've ever seen. if clubbing an elephant to death is a consideration potentially, 590.
