I've just strated carpentry (and the game in general) and I've decided to get into some crafting. I chopped down the trees to get logs, then craft them into planks. However, I keep getting these 'Notched Wooden Planks' which seem unusable compared to these normal generic 'planks'. Can somebody please tell me how to make these normal planks …

My notched plank is way more useful than any wallet or cologne. I use a notched plank way more than I use a rubber band. I use notched planks all the time. I never use credit cards.
