I.A.C. imported various Norinco 97 configurations, including the trench gun variant with heat shield, a bayonet, a sporting variant with a 26-inch barrel, and even chrome variants for SASS style shooters. Posted January 2, 2015. This here is a heat shield and bayonet mount for a Winchester 1897 or Model 12 shotgun to give it a "trench gun" look. Some folks like these for Wild Bunch, because the extra weight helps keep the muzzle down. I don't care for it, so here it is! Be advised that some modification to the barrel may be needed to make it fit.

The pump is a classic corncob-style design. It's small but fairly accurate for the guns at the time. The wood stock has nice checkering along the pistol grip that's tough to hate. We get sling swivels and even a sling, but the sling seems rather dainty. Across the barrel, we get a fixed metal heat shield for those trench gun vibes.
