I have had similar issues. Sometimes when I connect the charger to my quest 2(which is turned OFF at this point) the light turns white instead of orange/green. Had same issue with Quest 2 + Elite strap w/ extra battery. After both fully charged + oculus completely powered down (not in standby), if let it sit the Oculus would be at 100% and the extended would slowly get drained down to 0%. Read that if you unplug the battery from the oculus when not in use the battery doesn't drain.
