In general, Temple medical students/residents live in Center City or Manayunk, though, just as Jefferson medical students do. I believe that Temple's location and community are among its primary strengths due to the poverty of the surrounding community. On the other hand, I could see why you'd prefer Jefferson for the location/security. anyone else on the continuing candidate list for Temple and really hoping to get in? I loved the school when i was there, so i'm crossing my fingers :rolleyes:But i'd expect the actual clinic provided by the school to give you enough experience to feel that you're confident. Temple and UDM both have better clinics in my opinion. Having said that, as a recent Temple Med grad I'd suggest that you folks designate TUH as your first choice for MS3/MS4 rotations.
