The GM-800 is part of the Zen-Core ecosystem which is accessed through the Roland Cloud. The GM-800 is a sound module in itself. So you you can connect MIDI keyboard or a KM 12 Step type foot controller. You may not even wanna bother with the GK pickup.

HH were heading up in the world about the time I left the UK in late 73. I owned a twin 15 cabinet of theirs for a while over here. It's more than just a delay, and I personally hate Line 6 but I tell people to try that pedal. Yes it's digital as all hell but dude it works well on bass. It works DAMN well. Here's a few shots of my Mourdian CS-74. I've been looking for one of these for many years and here it is! It's all original except for the pickups. Jim Mouradian installed these EMG's a few years back and much prefers them to the original Bardens. I'd be interested in hearing from other owners on their pickups …

The Zoom MS-60B has either more DSP power or better algorithms as far as I can tell. Otherwise I managed to dial in most of my tones. The foot switch makes it super practical, especially for looping. Let me know if you have any questions about the Prime P1 and the foot switch. Aug 17, 2022 #6.

Same body and neck as the Decision (but with black blocks) but it has 3 Jazz Bomb pickups and a 5 way switch on a Tele style plate. In the 70’s a bunch of studio players pooled their money to put an Ampeg B15 in each of the major studios that they would all use when tracking there. I can’t remember the name of that group though. So I would guess the “east coast” sound is the NYC sound, an Ampeg B15.The pickups/bass overall sounds awesome. Apparently they are custom spec'd Seymour Duncans. Sounds like a P bass but bit more focused (exactly like how JMJ described it). The bass came with a good quality padded Fender gig bag and not some cheap thin garbage lol. Totally usable for pro gigging.

It was a Fender copy before they really made a variation of there own designs, even had the Fender headstock shape. I can’t remember the name of that group though. So I would guess the “east coast” sound is the NYC sound, an Ampeg B15.
