I have had it on my '18 twice. First time the fix, per GM TSB, was to add a portion of wiring harness. That fix only lasted about a month. Next time, the dealer replaced the shifter assembly. It will say Shift to Park when I am already in park. It’s been to the dealer for it and they said I had a screw loose or missing for the battery cable junction box and they replaced the screw/bolt. No issues with the shift to park on 2020 that we have seen. Not likely, since the problematic shifter mechanism is not used in the 2020.
