I am trying to remove the starter. I read the manual and got all the way to removing the starter mounting screws. The bottom one is the problem. The air tube for the transmission is in the way, There is nothing in the manual referring to this.Remove the gas tank cover. Then remove the gas tank and you can easily get to the starter.
