Like other reviewers mention, plan for it to be very hot--sunscreen, large hat or an umbrella is definitely a must! 1. Outstanding site. This is an outstanding ancient site at the heart of Chichen-Itza. It is a must see when you are in this area of Mexico. Chichen Itza was definitely a highlight of our Cancun vacation. There were about 20 of us in the tour group, and we had ample time at each location/activity.
