I was reading on the Barrel (20" & 18.5") and how to add the 8 shot (really a 7 shot) tube to an existing 5 shot Model 37 y It appears as though some not so exact machine work has to be "encouraged" or forced on the receiver due to 0.004mm difference!? Which if done by hand and not using any machining equipement.Foster type slugs, aka rifled slugs, are thin walled and soft enough to squeeze thru a full choke. It may affect accuracy however. A pump action bird gun is perfectly adequate for home/self defense. You do not need 10 pounds of "tactical" doo-dahs and folding stocks.
