Oct 27, 2023 · Different mountain and fat tire bikes I've tried all fit. The pad's perfect fit on the R1T's uniquely shaped tailgate was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting a simple pad. I was not happy to learn i couldn't mount existing racks on the crossbars when they are over the bed, and I was using my hitch rack. I'll be on the pad from now on LOL.

Anyone else worried about the thickness of the padding. Looks pretty thin but it’s hard to tell from the photos. I have a raceface pad that works really well, is reallly well padded, and holds 5 bikes. That said I like the way the Rivian pad looks and fits so am on the fence for sure.
