Traded it off for my .45 24/7 OSS which I consider to be a much more ergonomic design, at least for my hand. Seriously consider the PT845 as it's grip is adjustable. PT945 with Hogue Grip and Short DA Trigger.
Get them while you can. As one of the other staff noted the PT945 is due for being discontinued in the very near future. The 800 series is replacing the 900 series eventually. It was a conglomerated 'mish-mash' of a manual, covering virtually ALL Taurus pistols combined into one, and it barely mentioned the PT38S. It took countless hours of research on-line, to learn that it was closely related to the PT945, before I was able to determine things as simple as how to even field strip the PT38S! It was very frustrating.Tabdog my original choice was the 1911 but its too expensive for me. And the take down and maintanence seems alot easier with the other two guns. The downside, as I see it, is you will never find a holster for a PT-945 with this thing hung under the barrel. It's already hard enough to find one for it as is. You'll have to make your own.
