A year later, My check Engine light came on and VTM-4 Light came on also. I noticed car vibrates when I have it on and on park. Shakes and gas is miles are horrible. SOmetimes it struggles in highway, sort of feels kind of heavy. The lights do come on and off. Sometimes check engine is only on and sometimes VTM-4 comes on and off together.

I'm just seeing this thread for the first time, but I was going to comment that it could either be a failure in the VTM-4 system OR a different failure that has disabled the VTM-4 system causing the light to illuminate. In your case, it was obviously the latter.
